Third-year Carpentry student Kristie – currently working on our Campbelltown site – was invited by Miller TAFE to participate in the ‘YES Women in Construction’ Q&A session. Detailing her journey as a female Apprentice and aspiring tradesperson, she embodied the confidence and grit needed to succeed as a female within the construction industry, while covering topics from commercial construction, to the advantages of being employed by a large and well organised company – such as team culture, enterprise bargaining, conflict resolution, internal training and development opportunities, rostered days off and more. Her feedback really showcased Cubic as an employer of choice that provides career pathways and excellent working conditions for their team members.

Thank you Kristie for representing Cubic at Miller TAFE.
