The Cubic Aboriginal Recruitment and Engagement Plan is based on a number of core principles that underpin the strategies employed and outcomes that will be achieved through the C.A.R.E. Plan.

1. Cubic will commit to a long-term plan to improving Aboriginal employment, participation and capability through all levels of the organisation.

2. Cubic will innovate in the means it uses to attract, develop and retain Aboriginal staff, contractors and suppliers.

3. Cubic will accommodate Aboriginal cultural expression and responsibilities as a legitimate part of the employment of Aboriginal staff and contractors

4. Cubic will engage with Aboriginal structures both specific to recruitment and retention of Aboriginal staff as well as more broadly to establish meaningful relationships.
