Brookfield Place Tower 1: BHP Billiton Fitout
Cubic was engaged by Brookfield Mutiplex to complete the integrated internal fitout works for major tenant BHP Billiton at Brookfield Place Tower 1.
Cubic was engaged by Brookfield Mutiplex to complete the integrated internal fitout works for major tenant BHP Billiton located on Levels Basement B2, 1‐4 & 16‐45 within Brookfield Place Tower 1. The building comprises 46 levels of premium commercial space with approximately 71,000 sqm of net lettable area. Brookfield Place Tower 1 is also home to PwC and Barrick Gold.
BHP Billiton is among the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium and also have substantial interests in oil, gas and energy coal, with foundations built from two small mining companies founded in the mid-1800’s.
Cubic’s scope of works included: ceiling and partitions; barrisol stretch ceilings; custom luxalon aluminium ceilings; timber veneer acoustic ceilings; access panels; glazed partitions and balustrades; doors, frames and hardware; auto sliding doors and skirtings.
