Raised Access Floors

Cubic Raised Access Floors is a member of the worldwide JVP network, and our partnership with JVP Raised Access Floors provides the Australian market with a top-quality Italian-made environmentally sustainable flooring system. JVP systems are available in Loose Lay or Corner Lock options, all of which are low maintenance and designed to provide maximum flexibility and access to the services contained within the sub-floor void.

Built to meet global sustainability requirements, Cubic Raised Access Floors received the GECA certification and Eco-label in 2012. GECA certified products are independently assessed against scientifically based best practice and environmental performance standards in the Australian setting.

Worldwide Networking

The world market sees JVP as a specialist manufacturer in raised access floors, with a good understanding of the differences within local conditions.

To match the product to the local demand, JVP has established a worldwide network of professional distributors and contractors. This presence in the local markets helps to develop products that meet a client’s particular requirements and plays a major role in customer satisfaction.

JVP’s QA scheme requires the company to approve distributors and contractors on their level of professionalism, technical capability, customer care and service-orientated management.

Cubic Raised Access Floors meets all standards for the Australian market.

C4TTM Panel

The construction of Medium Grade (C4TTM) System consists of Panels supported on a grid of Pedestals which have a Vertical Height Adjustment Mechanism.

Medium Grade Panels are suited to commercial office environments with higher occupancy and traffic demands than light grade systems.

P4TTH Panel

Heavy grade panel

P4TTH Panel

The construction of heavy grade (p4tth) system consists of panels supported on a grid of pedestals which have a vertical height adjustment mechanism.

Heavy Grade Panels are suited to higher load commercial environments where durability and structural performance are critical.

Heavy grade panel system for demanding commercial and service-intensive raised floor applications.

Pedestals

Our extensive range of pedestals offers a raised access floor system at almost any height. Our standard range offers voids from 40mm to 1000mm and for those installations where void size is critical, smaller voids can be accommodated by special design.

Compatible with or without stringers or for use with our gravity lay or screw down raised floor systems, our pedestal range offers practicality and durability to meet the demands of onsite installation and client flexibility. We also offer zinc whisker free installations.

The Pedestal Construction consists of an all-steel base, threaded tube, threaded stud and a lock nut. The head is 90mm in diameter and capable of a Loose Lay or Corner Lock System. The Corner Lock System and/or the use of stringers increases the load bearing capacity of the System.

Mechanical Performance

JVP welcomes independent testing of product performance for client satisfaction. Full test results from independent testing laboratories are available upon request. JVP complies with the AS 4154-1993 referring to building construction and components. Load bearing capacity is one of the most important factors in satisfying global requirements.

Electrical Performance

With regard to electrical hazards in the workplace, the JVP laminated products and systems fully comply with the equipotential earth bonding standards, as well as with the human safety antistatic requirements from 1010 to 108omega (auxiliary of computerized components at 24V) and conductivity performance from 107 to 105omega (auxiliary of computerized components at 220V).

Dimensional Performance

The product is consistently manufactured to the required dimensional tolerances, allowing the installers to achieve a level floor with no potential trip hazards.

During installation and maintenance of the JVP panels, an important safety factor is the handling of the product.  The innovative design of the JVP double steel edge fold minimises the danger from exposed sharp edges.

The dimensional requirements and performance of the panels meet the standards for access floors as per AS 4154 – 1993 Australian Standard General Access Floors.

Fire
Performance

Concrete floor slabs contribute in a major way to the fire resistance of a building. The fire rating is intended to grant due time for full evacuation of the building during a fire hazard. The JVP Raised Access Floor system has been tested in Europe to withstand a fire between the concrete floor slab and underside of the floor panels, in accordance with EN 13501.2, with a result well over the minimum FRL of 30/30/30.

The fire characteristics of the JVP floor panels contribute in a major way towards the fire resistance of the building and the safe evacuation of the occupants.
