Barangaroo Tower 1: PwC
Cubic was engaged by Buildcorp to complete the integrated internal fitout works for PwC’s executive levels between levels 14 and 17 within Barangaroo Tower 1.
PwC is a network of firms in 157 countries worldwide, with more than 223,000 people and is one of Australia’s leading professional services firms, having grown from a one-man Melbourne accountancy practice in 1874 to the worldwide merger of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Lybrand in 1998. PwC Australia now employs more than 7,000 people. PwC is the anchor tenant of Tower One and occupies levels 6 to 17.
Cubic’s scope of works included the partitions, ceilings, doors and hardware package for the executive floors including the following areas:
- Level 17 – Reception, interactive signature technology and showcasing areas, formal meeting rooms, open- meeting and breakout spaces and a full commercial kitchen
- Level 16 – Collaborative open plan seating and dining areas, formal meeting spaces, video and multimedia environments
- Level 15 – Flexible training facilities, full commercial kitchen, fun spaces and activity-based work spaces, showers, changing rooms and bathrooms
- Level 14 – Open plan work and conferencing spaces
