As Principal Builder, Cubic’s Scope of Work included retaining the existing building envelope, partial demolition works and full refurbishment and upgrade of the existing 3-storey brick building. A new steel structure was constructed with new concrete floors, making the existing timber structure an architectural feature and no longer a structural element of the building.
The new development included 4 retail spaces and 6 apartments across the following levels:
- Ground Floor – commercial/retail, amenities, services & BOH
- Level 1 & 2 – open plan office space
- Level 3 & 4 (new levels) – split-level residential apartments
- Common rooftop area
