Eveleigh Street, Redfern
A 3-storey heritage building in Redfern, Sydney, was converted into mixed-use development including commercial spaces and stylish residential apartments featuring leading Italian designer kitchens, Snaidero.
As Principal Builder, Cubic’s Scope of Work included retaining the existing building envelope, partial demolition works and full refurbishment and upgrade of the existing 3-storey brick building. A new steel structure was constructed with new concrete floors, making the existing timber structure an architectural feature and no longer a structural element of the building.
The new development included 4 retail spaces and 6 apartments across the following levels:
- Ground Floor – commercial/retail, amenities, services & BOH
- Level 1 & 2 – open plan office space
- Level 3 & 4 (new levels) – split-level residential apartments
- Common rooftop area
